sarah and cole :: engaged

I can not even tell you how excited I am for Sarah and Cole's late October wedding at a nature reserve! When I first met them, they were so friendly and easy going and how so many great ideas for photos and details for their wedding! We went out last week to take their engagement pictures and the weather was slightly less than desirable-very windy, somewhat cold and boy did the creeping up of early fall darkness catch me off guard!! We had a great time though and I enjoyed spending time with you guys and getting to know you more! Thank you so much for a great time. I am so looking forward to October 23rd!:)
























I just have to say it was SO difficult for me to pick favorites because I love them all and I I especially love the way they are looking at each other in so many of these. LOVE.










And I found out Sarah adores candy and all things sugar, so it was perfect that I had the idea to go get ice cream and the ice cream shop happened to have a HUGE rack of candies. Sarah could barely contain her excitement. :)And it just so happens, they are having a candy buffect at their wedding! AND even though it was cold outside, the ice cream we had was delicious too!:)

I also enjoy the fact that Sarah was the one of us all to get a double scoop! Look at all of that ice cream!

Our last stop was to make a sidewalk chalk creation! A fun fact about Sarah and Cole is that they once won a sidewalk chalk drawing contest in which they drew an under water scene. How fun are they?! I decided this meant they needed to create something for me too!
