kristin and mike :: engaged.

I can not even tell you how excited I was when my cousin (ok, second cousin?!), Kristin called me a few months ago to ask if I would photograph she and Mike's wedding next May. It is going to be a beautiful wedding. You deserve all the happiness in the world! I enjoyed our engagement shoot a few weekends ago-it was the perfect excuse to hang out and catch up! Looking forward to seeing more of you both in the future and of course, looking forward to next May! :) Love you guys!

Loving the idea of flying a kite! There is a story involved with the significance of the kite to their relationship. I did not get the whole thing, but I am fairly certain flying a kite was incorporated with Mike's beach proposal! :)








They never quite got it in the air for long, but we all had fun while they tried!






















And ok, this was totally my idea to jump on some random dude's cool bike while he was not around. He definitely caught us. HA! Luckily, we all laughed about it. Woopsy! This shot = worth it!:)


Next in the hopper for the evening: a little lake side wine! I love their expressions as Mike popped the top on this one. I am sure my expression was great too. Hehe.
